  New York City fashion designer duo explore women's issues in the space exploration age for their new collection, Final Frontier!

 

Nelson Tavarez | NT  is a New York base Womenswear brand that has been getting great recognition due to the high demand by stylist, bloggers and celebrities that are requesting the unique designs being forge at the Washington Heights, Manhattan Studio.  From the most recent project with Natti Nattalia and Daddy Yankee;  for which We created a series of looks for her for their latest Video "Otra Cosa", a long side the fabulous stylist Oscar Monte de Oca, whom has work with a sophisticated group celebrities; to confectioning an amazing costume for the "Orange is the New Black" star, Ms. Jackie Cruz; and the amazing Latin TV personality from "El Gordo y la Flaca" Clarissa Molina, whom is a great fan of Our work since she participated in Miss Universe, representing our home country Dominican Republic. 

The launch of this collection coincides with the expansion of  the options offered in our website. The Final Frontier collection will feature exclusive ready to wear Styles, original prints and Colors.

 

Final Frontier, a term notes in a small part of a quote by John F: Kennedy, he called on human kind to reach new frontiers in space, to maybe inhabit. We thought about this and from there we transformed it into the ground inspiration for this collection.

We use dress forms as a way to  empower the role women in the space exploration; and the issue of Inequality; a  real issue today.  Maybe it  starts by the way girls are labeled as weak even in our modern society. Going forward, will we transport our believes? Will woman be equal? With this questions in mind, we are not looking to answer them but to empower women, to dress up and speak up, so that the feeling of independence actually becomes freedom of will that will nurture our new frontiers.
