New York Fashion Designer Nelson Tavarez latest collection for Spring Summer 2021 was inspired by memories of Nelson's childhood In Dominican Republic. We travelled to the Santo Domingo to el barrio Villa Mella; a colorful place filled with music, rhythm, soul, and joy. Villa Mella resonated with those memories that inspired this collection. Our goal was to tell a short story about women's empowerment and new found freedom. The philosophy behind this collection is to inspired of a new version of you in this life; while keeping the roots that made this experience possible close to your heart, and focusing your energies and thoughts on spreading your wings to reach new heights in our common live journey.
